When James Washington Denson was born on April 7, 1853, in Georgia, his father, William, was 26 and his mother, Sarah, was 21. He married Matilda Catherine Denson and they had nine children together. He then married Eliza O Pardue and they had four children together. He died on February 4, 1923, at the age of 69. Was told by my great uncle that he had a saw mill and he was delivering a load of wood and the wagon had a problem and when he went to fix it that the mule backed and moved the wagon and broke his leg and he died because of the complications of the broke leg.
