Wilbert W Harms, age 89 of Reedsburg died on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at the Reedsburg Area Senior Life Center. He was born on March 8 1921 in the Town of Westfield, the son of Ludwig and Emma (Roewer) Harms.

He was married to Delores Luetkens at St John Ev Lutheran Church, Loganville on June 9, 1950.

Wilbert "Bill" had a love for the earth, the soil of the earth, the land he farmed for so many years and the times he spent hunting and fishing. He enjoyed serving the Lord, his church home at St John's Lutheran in Loganville and taking care of the church cemetery for many years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and infant son; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Gilbert Muchow, Norbert Luetkens, Verna Mae and Orville Hahn.

He is survived by his wife, Delores of Reedsburg; his children, Kathy (John) Reuter of Reedsburg and Marie (Kevin) Holman of Texas; five grandchildren, Ryan, Renee and Russell Reuter, Sara (David) Homan-Nash and Laura (Mark) Douglas; 1 great-granddaughter, Masina; his siblings, Arleda Muchow, Jerome (Rita), and Arend (Marcella), all of Reedsburg; sisters and brothers-in-law, Vernice (Donald) Schultz and Marlene (Marty) Koenecke, all of Reedsburg; many nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends.

Burial will be in St John Lutheran Cemetery, Westfield Township.
