Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late William and Florence (Schaeffer) Remppel.
She was employed by Leittse Handbags, Reading, for over 30 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Virginia E. "Midge" Wilkens, Scotch Plains, N.J.; two sisters, Jean, wife of Elmer Stubner; and Ruth Remppel, both of Bernville; three grandchildren: David, husband of Lucia Wilkens, Fanwood, N.J.; Michael Wilk-ens, Bayonne, N.J.; and Marni, wife of David Finkel, West Toluca Lake, Calif.; and six great-grandchildren: Julia, Philip, Phylicia, Jesse, Roscoe and Clyde.
She was predeceased by three brothers: Edward R. and John M. Manderbach and William C. Remppel.
Services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 8, at 12:30 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
