WILLIAM HARRISON KURTZ

Well known Roaring Spring resident, died last evening at 9.15 o'clock at his home at 219 Main street following an extended illness. He was a son of Peter and Susan (Hainley) Kurtz and was united in marriage with Clara Jane Smith, who survives, with three sons, Andrew Kurtz of Juniata, George Kurtz of Parkersburg, W. Va., and Cpl. Charles E. Kurtz, located at Indiantown Gap and one daughter, Amanda Kurtz, at home and eight grandchildren and one niece and one nephew and one brother Andrew Kurtz of Nampa, Idaho. Mr. Kurtz was employed by the D.M. Bare Pare company for many years and was a member of Trinity Methodist church and the Independent Order of Odd Fellows. Friends will be received at the home.
