William L. SPARBER, 82, of Battle Ridge Road, R. D. 2, McDonald, died Saturday morning, January 9, 1960, in the John J. Kane hospital, following a lingering illness.
Mr. SPARBER was born May 16, 1877, in Westmoreland County. He was a retired farmer and was a member of the Noblestown Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, Jennie SPEER SPARBER a son, Charles W. SPARBER, of Battle Ridge Road, and a daughter, Mrs. M. J. (Mary Ellen) BARBISH of R. D.
2, McDonald. There are eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon in the Thomas funeral home, Oakdale, in charge of the Rev. Robert C. ARMSTRONG, pastor of the Noblestown Methodist Church. Burial was in Robinson's Run cemetery.
