Son of Elihu Hembree (b. Milton Co (now Fulton), Ga) and Susan Stiggler (b. Ga). Widowed from Mary Ann Rainwater/Hembree. Have copy of death certificate - died of Bright's disease. Last address was 126 Lawton Avenue, Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia. Dr. John A. Hembree of Macon, Georgia gave information for death certificate.

PIONEER ROSWELL MAN DIES WHILE ON VISIT TO SON IN MACON

Macon, Ga., July 19 - (Special) - Dr. Marion H. Hembree, 85, Confederate veteran, a member of the First Georgia Infantry in the war between the states died at 9 o'clock this morning at the home of his son, Dr. J. A. Hembree, 126 Lawton Avenue.

Dr. Hembree had spent most of his life in the vicinity of Roswell and he was here on a visit when stricken with a fatal illness, although he had been in had health for four months.

The body was taken to Atlanta at 2 o'clock this afternoon for funeral and interment.

Surviving are five sons and four daughters, J. E. Hembree, Atlanta., J. M. Hembree, Marietta, Dr. J. A. Hembree, Macon and Ben and Marion Hembree, Roswell; Mrs. L. W. Dempsey, Atlanta, Mrs. H. L. Alford, Atlanta, Mrs. J. W. Puckett, Montrose & Miss Mary Hembree, Roswell

He was a member of the Baptist Church in Roswell.
