Mrs. Frances Stith Martin was born in Wayne County, West Virginia, February 9th, 1850, and spent her girlhood days in Kentucky. She was married to Reverend James Martin at Howard Lake, Minnesota in 1867 and celebrated her 61st wedding anniversary on November 1st, 1928 and departed from this life January 21st, 1929 at Ellensburg, at the home of her son.
Before coming west Rev. and Mrs. Martin made their home in Minneapolis.
Her remains were taken to Minneapolis for interment.
(She is buried in Howard Lake and there are 2 headstones)
Portion of obit from No newspaper identified, found in family paper clippings but I would assume it was in a Minnesota Newspaper since she was buried in Howard Lake MN, stated here for identification purposes only.
