He was a graduate of the Johnsonville High School class of 1966 and was the president of that class. He graduated from Clemson University in 1970 and was the owner of the Light Company Unlimited. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hemingway.
Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Saturday in the First Baptist Church in Hemingway. Burial followed in the Old Johnsonville Cemetery directed by Morris Funeral Home.
Surviving in addition to his mother of Hemingway are his wife,Annette Stone Huggins of the home; four brothers, Elmer Huggins of Hickory, N.C., Hugh Huggins of Myrtle Beach, Kay Huggins and Ned Livingston Huggins, both of Hemingway.
