RADER, Roland Robert, 91, of Fincastle, passed away Sunday, September 12, 1993 in a local hospital. He was a member of the Troutville Church of the Brethren and was a life long farmer. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ruth Snyder Rader; one son and daughter-in-law, Richard Rader and wife Harriett, Fincastle; one daughter and son-in-law, Patricia R. and husband, Dr. Richard Smith, Fincastle; seven grandchildren, Sarah and Sherri Rader, Susan R. Snow, Dr. Steven and Kevin Smith, Stephanie S. Butler, and Suzanne S. Shattuck; two great-grandchildren, Sarah Butler and Zachary Smith; one brother, John V. Rader, Troutville; two sisters, Mrs. Agnes R. Kinzie, Troutville, and Mrs. Mae R. Obenshain, Fincastle and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral service to be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, with the Rev. Dr. Robert L. Alderman, the Rev. James Worline, and the Rev. Peter Leddy officiating. Burial will be in Trinity Cemetery, Botetourt County. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Troutville Rescue Squad. Friends may call Oakey's North Chapel after 3 p.m. Monday.
