Rosa Lee Chambers Schwintosky, 71, of Wurtland, formerly of Omar, W.Va., died Tuesday, December 7, 2010, in Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland.

She was born July 18, 1939, at Omar, W.Va.

Mrs. Schwintosky was a longtime resident of Santa Cruz.

Surviving are a son, Edward Allen Schwintosky of Soquel, three sisters, Earnistine Southerland and Sherry White, both of Logan, W.Va., and Bonnie Cdokock of Lake, W.Va., two brothers, Willie Chambers of Russell, Ky., and Larry Chambers of Texas, three grandchildren, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North East.

Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 12 noon to 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

From Brittany Schwintosky (ID 51489140): Three grandchildren of Rosa are: Jaimee Hunter, Brittany Schwintosky, and Nicole Schwintosky. Also a great grandson Daniel Hunter.
