They had a wonderful daughter, Peggy Abel, who wed Edward Dotson and had two great sons to carry on.
∼Harry H. Abel Runt went to the arms of Jesus on May 26, 2018 at Monterey Care Center in Grove City, Ohio. He was the youngest son of Charles and Kate Ann (Dickey) Abel whom preceded him in death.
He married Erma Ruthie Reinier Abel on June 28, 1945 after his service in the United States Navy. She preceded him in death in 1995. Their Union produced a daughter Peggy Joyce (Abel) Dotson and son Harry Richard Abel, also deceased.
After his military service he worked at Crane Naval Station where he retired in 1978. He then worked for Orange County Highway Department and farmed.
He is preceded in death by siblings George Abel, Grace (Abel) McDonald, Cecil Abel, Paul Pete Abel, Lucille (Abel) Minton, Roxie (Abel) Ramey, Helen (Abel) Jones, Margie (Abel) Logsdon, Fred Abel and Maude (Abel) Rominger.
He is survived by daughter Peggy and son-in-law Edward Dotson of Grove City, Ohio, grandchildren Troy (Kahala) of Hawaii and Tracy (Shannon) of Groveport, Ohio; great grandchildren Alex (Claire) Dotson and Ava Dotson.
FUNERAL CEREMONY
Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, May 31st, 2018 with visitation one hour prior at Ames Chapel Church with interment following in Ames Chapel Cemetery.
VISITATION
Friends may visit Wednesday, May 30th, 2018 from 6-8 PM at the Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home French Lick, IN.
