ROUSH, Richard A. Age 82 of New Lebanon, passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2010. Richard was born on June 9, 1928 in New Paris, OH to his parents, Raymond and Opal (Whitney) Roush. Preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Marianna (Newlin), and his daughter, Rebecca. Richard is survived by his 3 sons, Richard R. (Teresa) Roush, Daniel (Ann) Geisel, and Rob Roush; 2 daughters, Twyla (Dennis) Marlow, and Thalia Stoff; also 18 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Richard was well-known and involved in many Masonic organizations, he also earned a number of titles, including: Past Master - Farmersville #482, Past High Priest - Twin Valley Chapter #240 Royal Arch Masons, Past Illustrious Master - Adoniram Council #131 Royal & Select Masons, Past Commander - Valley Commandry #80 Knights Templar, Knights of the York Cross of Honour, Past Very Eminent Preceptor - Temple Tabernacle #62, Holy Royal Arch Knights Templar Priest-York Right 33*, Past Worthy Patron, O.E.S. Farmersville #155, Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton, Past Grand Tall Cedar - Acacia Forest #184 Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Irish Council #67 Knight Masons, Kentucky Colonel, and many other Masonic organizations. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010 at ROGERS' FUNERAL HOME, NEW LEBANON, 324 W. Main St. 45345, with Truman Dillon officiating. Interment will follow at Royal Oak Memorial Gardens in Brookville. Visitation will be Friday evening at the funeral home from 4:00 to 7:30 PM with Eastern Star/Masonic services starting at 7:30 PM.
