William Childress Piercy, 86, was a son of James Howard Piercy and Minnie Davis Piercy. On June 29, 1940, he married Marcella Gilbert, who preceded him in death.
He was also preceded by his parents; one grandson, Michael Adkisson; son–in-law, Johns Rabun; one brother, Charlie Piercy and one sister, Annie Piercy Gilbert.
He is survived by his children, Leisha AenneA Neelix, formerly Norman Piercy, Sharon (Jerry) Adkisson, Brian Piercy and Phyllis Rabun, grandchildren, Pamela West, Kate Piercy, Nikki Piercy, Emily Piercy, Apryll Piercy, Charlotte Rabun and Ginger Rabun, five great-grandchildren, and numerous nephews and nieces.
