Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth and Virginia (Anderson) McKinney.
Judith was a 1963 graduate of Mt. Penn High School and a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Johnstown Campus, where she received a degree in business.
She was employed at Harleysville Insurance Company as an underwriter for eight years, retiring in 2005. She was previously employed at Ohio Casualty Insurance Company for seven years. Judith was also a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Kutztown.
In addition to her husband, Judith is survived by her two sons, Kenneth S., husband of Dawn Tice, Hagerstown, Md.; and Christopher M. Tice, Waynesboro, Pa.; two grandchildren, Hannah and Adam Tice; sisters, Dr. Jill L. McKinney, Boston, Mass.; Kathleen M. (McKinney) Uczynski, Pennside; and brother, Timothy E. McKinney, Exeter Township.
Funeral services will be from Bean Funeral Homes, North 16th & Rockland Streets, Reading, on Tuesday, Dec. 14, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Carl A. Wenzel officiating. Interment will be in Spies Zion Cemetery. Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Bean Funeral Home, Hampden Heights, is in charge of the arrangements.
