The Augusta Chronicle
Dr. Flournoy Carter, a highly esteemed and eminent physician of this city, died at his residence on Greene Street, between four and five o'clock yesterday afternoon, of lung disease, after a prolonged illness. He was about 42 years of age. Dr. Carter was a son of Dr. John Carter of Augusta, who died a number of years ago. (Billie Greene)
