Dorothy Jenelle Hash Cox, age 82, of Galax, VA died Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010 at her home.
Mrs. Cox was born June 20, 1928 to Robert L. & Beulah Clyde Phipps Hash in Grayson County, VA.
Surviving are the following; husband, T.O. Cox, Jr., Galax, VA; daughters & sons-in-law, Linda Cox & Terry Jemison, Alexandria, VA, Sarah & Ricky Gallimore, Galax, VA; son & daughter-in-law, Talmage Cox, 111 and Dana, Centerville, VA; grandchildren, Talmage O. Cox, IV, Kelly M. Jemison, Robert D. Cox, Douglas J. Jemison; sisters, Ruth Hampton, Galax, VA and Henrietta Cox, Bridle Creek, VA. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2010 at 11:00 AM in the First United Methodist Church, Galax, VA. Burial will follow in the Monta Vista Cemetery, Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home, Galax, VA. Officiating ministers will be the Rev. Walt Simmerman and the Rev. Tom Ballard.
