HERMAN LEMKE

Herman H. Lemke, 76, of 828 N. 19th St., Manitowoc, died unexpectedly Saturday afternoon, April 23, at his residence.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Glenn H. Unke will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Lemke was born April 30, 1906, at Milwaukee. He married Emma Schaefer, who preceded him in death April 28, 1963. Mr. Lemke was owner of Truck Service Company of Manitowoc and a member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Survivors include two sons and a daughters-in-law, Herman and Barbara Lemke of Seattle, Wash., and Paul and Shirley Lemke of Manitowoc; a daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Walter Wiggins of Albuquerque, N.M.: two sisters, Mrs. Eleanore Schmidt and Mrs. Hilda Bass of Milwaukee; 11 grandchildren, Todd, Tami, Heath, Tasha, Steve, Machelle, Mike, Laura, Steven, Kristen and Scott, nieces, nepehws and other relatives and friends. A daughter, Arlene Lemke Darvanian, preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday until 11 a.m. Wednesday, and then at the church from noon until the time of service.
