He was the son of Andrew Jackson "Jackson" Case and Rachel Blair. He was raised around Fallsville, Newton County, AR and as a grown man moved his family to Oklahoma. His first two wives are buried in Arkansas.


Obit from McAlester Newspaper:
"Nicholas G. Case, 78, died at his home here Wednesday night following an illness of several weeks.

He was born Nov. 14, 1869 at Jasper, Arkansas. He had resided in Indianola for five years, moving here from Arkansas in 1943.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Josie Case, of the home here; two daughters, Mrs. Selma Barnes of Durant & Mrs. Lillie Plummer of Indianola; a son, Jack Case, Indianola; one sister, Mrs. Emma Barnes, Tulsa; a brother, Tilden Case, Foswell, Arkansas; eight grandchildren, & four great grandchildren.

Burial will be in the Indianola Cemetery under the direction of the Humphrey Funeral Home, McAlester. Pallbearers will be Babe Doyle, Bob Huddleston, Acie Barlow, A. Cordell, Frank Morrison, and George Wright, all of Indianola."
