Dolores Henrie Barnett, age 84, passed away October 21, 2007 in West Valley City, Utah.
Born August 16, 1923 in Salt Lake City, Utah, daughter of Lester
Eugene and Lucile Griggs Henrie. Married John Herbert Barnett March 18, 1940 in The Salt Lake City
Temple. Member of the LDS Church and held positions in the Relief
Society organization and other teaching and musical positions. In her younger years she was a nurse's aide, and in her later years was a caregiver to many family members. Enjoyed playing the piano, knitting, crocheting and needlepoint.
Survived by sons: Bruce (Sandra) Barnett, Dug (Debbie) Barnett, and Dolohn Barnett; 14 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; sister, Carol Sprague. Preceded in death by husband; daughter, Pam;
brothers: Jack and Eugene.
A viewing will be held Tues. 6-8 pm at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Wednesday, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. followed by graveside services, 1 p.m. at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South.
