William Foster, 74 years old, passed away at the DuPage County Convalescent Home at eleven o'clock Tuesday morning following an illness of several months duration.
"Bill" as he was familiarly known, was born in West Chicago on November 29 [sic], 1868, and lived here his entire life time. A pioneer resident, he was both well known and well liked.
He leaves one sister, Mrs. Vange Foster Frey of Naperville.
Funeral services will be conducted this Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Norris and Son Chapel with Reverend Hoover of the Methodist Church in charge. Burial will be in Oakwood cemetery.
