KNAEBEL, Joseph E. Died Dec. 15, 2010 at Freedom Inn Assisted Living Facility. He was preceded in death by his wife Avanell. Survivors include a son, Ken and daughter-in-law Stephennna of Seminole; daughter Sue Shierling and son-in-law John of Palm Coast; and daughter Sandra Hricik and son-in-law Bob of Warrenton, VA; eight grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and brother Francis of Evansville, IN. Joe was born Feb. 15, 1917 in Evansville, IN and moved to Florida in 1965. He resided on 27th Avenue North and lived there until June of 2009 when he moved to the Inn at Freedom Square. He worked for Massie Tool and Mold until his retirement in 1979. He was an avid bowler, sometimes bowling as much as 5 times a week. Friends will be received at the Brett Funeral Home, 4810 Central Ave., Monday, Dec. 13, 2010 from 6-8 pm, with a Wake Service at 7:30 pm. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, Dec. 14th at 1 pm at the Cathedral of St. Jude the Apostle (Our Lady's Chapel). Burial to follow at Calvary (Catholic) Cemetery.
