Final Rites Conducted For William Friedrich
Requiem Mass was conducted Tuesday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church for William Godfrey Friedrich, 73, of Vernalis who died shortly after arrival at a local hospital last Saturday. Death was apparently caused by a heart attack. The Rosary was recited Monday evening at Evans Funeral Chapel and interment Tuesday was in the Patterson District Cemetery.
Friedrich was a native of Oxnard. He had ranched on Welty Road near Vernalis for the past 28 years.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Earl Archer of Vernalis, and three sons, Robert of Hidden Hills, Calabasas, George of Westley, and James with the armed forces in Alaska.
