George Westly Haley Jr. was the first son of eleven children born to George W Haley Sr. and Bertha E. (Rinker) Haley. Children of the Couple were as follows: Ella May, George W Jr., Lillian, Herbert, Raymond, Francis, Marion, Bertha (died at 3 Months), Della, Infant Haley (died right after birth), and Harold.
George W resided with family in Montgomery County until the family relocated to Millville, New Jersey around 1915.
George enlisted in the United States Calvary in 1917 and received an Honorable Discharge in 1919; He then enlisted in the New Jersey National Guard 1920 and was honarably discharged 1921.
George Worked in New Jersey and for a time in Conshohocken, Pa. He died at a young age on December 12 1943 in the United States Naval Hospital in Philadelpha Pa.
