Kathleen (Horning) Anderson, "Tsi-Ge-yu-v A-Ge-yu-tusa" passed away January 28, 2008 in Lancaster, Calif. Born in Wann, Oklahoma, December 3, 1921, she was the daughter of Joanna Lowery and William Cushenberry. A descendant of Major George Lowery and the granddaughter of Henry Lowery who served as Sheriff of Nowata County from 1931 until his death in 1936.

She leaves behind a son, Donald Horning and two grandsons, Wayne and Shawn; two sisters,Shirlee Mae Carrisosa and Johonna Colleen Colson; and one brother, William Winston Cushenberry all living in the State of California.

She served as the Director of the International Guiding Eyes for the Blind in Smylar, California until her retirement several years ago.

She was loved by all who knew her as she herself was a loving caring person who was always willing to help anyone in need. Her absence will leave a void in the lives of all, especially the many nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.
