She grew up in Parkville and attended school in Mountain Iron, graduating from Mountain Iron High School. She attended the Lincoln School of Business in Lincoln, Neb. On Nov. 25, 1954, she was united in marriage to Robert L. Muhich at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Virginia. Following marriage they made their home in Virginia. She was a bookkeeper for the East Range Clinic in Virginia for four years, then became a full-time homemaker and mother, having seven children and raising six to adulthood. She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church of Virginia.
Vivian is survived by her husband, Robert; daughters: Michelle Muhich, Monica Muhich, and Marcia Muhich; sons: Michael (Mary) Muhich; Marcus Muhich, and Mitchell (Rebecca) Muhich; six grandchildren; brothers: Leo (Ruth) Phaneuf, James (Mary Jo) Phaneuf, William Phaneuf and Roger (Sharon) Phaneuf; a sister, Barbara (Phil) Thoennes; mother-in-law, Frances K. Muhich; uncle, Henry Phaneuf; aunt, Ora Sundquist; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by a son, Matthew, and her parents.
Burial will be in the Eveleth Cemetery.
