Marie Catherine Pierard was born in Belgium in 1873.

Marie married Lambert Joseph Brice in 1827, and started a family. Marie, Lambert Joseph, and their 4 children decided to come to the US as a family.
Their Immigration was in 1855. They were Aboard the ship "W.F. Schmidt", departing Antwerp 9 June 1855 and arriving in New York 23 July 1855.

Lambert Joseph and Marie Catherine(Pierard) Brice Filed at the County Court House, in Brown County, Wisconsin their Declaration of Intention on the 11th of AUG 1855.
In 1858 there was an official land transcript and documentation of land ownership and purchase finalization for 240 acres of land in Red River. Casco-Luxemburg Township.
Lambert Joseph and Marie built their home and farmed on their land. Lambert wrote letters and sent them back home to tell of their travels and new home in America. These letters told of their trials, along with all of the wonderful opportunities awaiting any who would choose to travel here as well.
December 5, 1827 is when Marie and Lambert were married in Bon,ez, Brabant, Belgium.
Their children that traveled to the United States with them are:
- Esperance Brice b: 28 OCT 1827 in Bonlez, Brabant, Belgium
- Adele Josephe Brice b: 30 JAN 1831 in Dion-le-Val, Brabant, Belgium
