Atlanta Constitution - Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Bomar, widow of Dr. Benjamin F. Bomar, second mayor of Atlanta, died at 6 o'clock Saturday evening at the home of her daughter, MRs. A. B. Killian, 557 Woodward Avenue. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. A. B. Killian; two sons, Major Thomas H. Bomar of Pecos, Texas and R. H. Bomar, of Marion, N. C. and a sister, Mrs. Albert Ayers, Sr., of Guntersville, Alabama; a brother, Marcus W. Foster of Gadsden, Alabama, also by fifteen grandchildren and twenty- three great-grandchildren in Atlanta, Columbia, S. C., Jefferson, N. C., Marion, NH. C., Tyrone, N. M. and Bonham, Ky. The funeral services will be conducted privately today (Monday), Janueary 1, 1917 at 10:30 a.m. by Dr. Henry Alford Porter from the residence, 557 Woodward Avenue, and interment will be private in Oakland Cemetery. The following named gentlemen will please act as pallbearers and meet at the chapel of H. M. Patterson & Son, at 10 a.m.: Mr. A. C. Briscoe, Dr. W. E. Campbell, Mr. W. S. Terrell, Mr. E. L. Harling, Mr. Henry Hillyer and Mr. T. J. Day.
