"Mercedes Curtis Comaduran 1942 - 2004
Mercedes Curtis Comaduran, "Mercy," 62 years old, of Bisbee, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 13, 2004.
Mercy was born in Benson, Ariz., on Sept. 12, 1942, to Louis Henry Comaduran and Mary Curtis Comaduran. She is one of two sisters and 12 brothers. Mercy was always outgoing and positive. She possessed a wonderful sense of humor. Mercy was religious and enjoyed music.
She was preceded in death most recently by two brothers, Johnny in 1994 and Pedro in 1966.
Mercy had spent a larger part of her life in the care of the Cochise County Association for the Handicapped, which is an extension of her family.
Survivors include: sister, Gloria Alvarez of Benson; brothers, Louis (Esperanza) Comaduran of California, Mariano of Benson, Jose of Phoenix, Manuel (Diana) of Douglas, Tony (Danita) of Benson, Jerry of Bisbee; and many relatives.
A Rosary was said at the Holy Trinity Monastery on Hwy. 80 in St. David, Ariz., on Thursday, Nov. 18, 2004. Funeral Mass was held at noon Friday, Nov. 19, 2004, at the Monastery. Rev. Henry officiated. Interment was in the High Street Cemetery at Benson, Ariz." ~ Obituary provided by: Candace Young-Mayo
