The Death Roll- Mr. Joseph O. Abdell, a well-known printer, and for years an attaché of the office of The Public Ledger, died at his home, No. 9 Princess Anne Avenue, at 3:55 yesterday afternoon, after a lingering illness from consumption. The deceased was in the thirty-fourth year of his age, of quiet mien and kindly disposition, with many friends who will regret exceedingly to know of his demise. He leaves a widow and three children to mourn an irreparable loss. The funeral will take place at 4:30 o’clock this afternoon from the residence and will be attended by Norfolk Typographical Union NO. 32, of which he was a member.

Death of a Well-Known Printer

Mr. Joseph O. Abdell, a member of Norfolk Typographical Union No. 32, who has been sick for the past six months, died at his residence, No. 9 Princess Anne Avenue, yesterday, in the 34th year of his age. Mr. Abdell was well-known and popular outside of his fell craftsmen, and quite a large circle of friends, will be deeply pained to hear of his death. He leaves a widow and three small children. The funeral will take place this afternoon at 4:30 from his late residence, and the members of the Typographical Union are requested to assemble at their hall at 3:30 to attend the funeral.
