Born October 14, 1924 in Beaver Falls to the late William and Pauline (Kaczmarzik) Lesinski, he attended the Holy Family Parish in New Brighton. He was a veteran of the US Army and a member of the Oak Hill Vets. He retired as a group leader from Westinghouse after 35 years of service.
Surviving are his wife of 61 years, Elsie Joan Justi Lesinski, New Brighton; two sons, Michael "Mike" and Dennis Lesinski, both of Beaver Falls; four daughters and sons-in-law, Marian and David Hughes, Beaver Falls, Cathy and John McCandless, New Brighton, Lydia and Ed Gerrior, Monument Beach, MA, and Lisa and David Gabauer, Chippewa Twp.; nine grandchildren, Melissa Maybusher, Louisville, KY, Steve and his wife Ashley Hughes and Christine Hughes all of Beaver, Rachel, Michael and Renee Gratis, all of Buzzards Bay, MA, Emily McCandless, New Brighton and Gracyn and Devon Gabauer, both of Chippewa Twp. and two great grandchildren, Cameron Hughes, Beaver and Avery Tesnovich, New Brighton.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Philip Lesinski and four brothers, Frank, Walter, Vincent and Zigmund Lesinski.
Friends will be received Saturday from 6 to 8 pm and Sunday from 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm in the LUTTON BEAVER FALLS FUNERAL HOME, 1117 Fifth Avenue, www.luttonfuneralhome.com, where prayers will be offered Monday at 9:20 am followed by Mass of Christian burial at 10 am in Holy Family Parish with Father Tom Kredel as celebrant.
Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, New Brighton.
The Beaver County Special Unit will meet at the cemetery at 10:45 am to present full military honors.
