Ricky Jim (Rick) Hooper, 62, of Princeton, Texas passed away on December 1, 2010, in Allen, Texas. A celebration of life will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, December 19, 2010, at Rock Creek Ranch on F.M. 1461 in McKinney, Texas. Everyone is welcome.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First National Bank of Trenton in Ricky Jim Hooper's name.

Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 601 S. Tennessee Street, McKinney, Texas 75069 is in charge of arrangements.

He was a country musician. He and his brother, Dee, wrote several songs and were very popular as a local band in the 1970s.
