GREENWOOD — Mrs. Belle McClaln, 95, died Tuesday evening at Johnson County Hospital is a result of a broken hip sustained September 7. She Is surrived by five sons, one brother 23 grandchildren, 50greatgrandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
Mrs. McClain resided at 1W Broadway In Greenwood. She spent the last 19 years In Greenwood, and the 30 years prior to that In Shelby County. Born June 9, 1870 In Shiloh community In Johnson County, Mrs. McClaln spent her first 46 years In Johnson County. The daughter of Methias and Liza McClaln, Mrs. McClaln was married to Roma McClain in 1892 at Franklin. He preceded her In death in 1942.
Mrs. McClaln was a member of the Shllol Presbyterian Church and was very interested In needle work, in which she continued to the day of her death.
Friends may call at the Burkhardt Funeral home after 7 p.m. Wednesday. Services will beheld Frldayi at 2 p.m. Burial will be at Rocklane Cemetery.
Mrs. McClaln Is survived by her sons Ralph McClaln of Greenwood; Thomas McClaln, Shelbyvllle; George McClaln, Bloomington; Chester McClaln,; Shelbyvllle and Raymond McClaln of Tarpon Sprlngs, Fla. A sixth son, Ernest preceded her In death. Also survlving is a brother
W.W. McClaln of Morgantown.
