GEORGETOWN

Capers W. Eaddy, 69, died Friday, April 26, 1996. Mr. Eaddy was born July 23 1926, in Williamsburg County, a son of the late Breton Taylor Eaddy and Nellie Alna Hughes Eaddy.

He was a former employee of International Paper Co. And a retired commercial fisherman. Mr. Eaddy was a member of Eastside Free Will Baptist Church where he was a former deacon, member of the ushering committee and a former member of the Board of Trustees. He was currently attending Cornerstone Baptist Church.

Mr. Eaddy was a member of the Shrimper's Association of South Carolina and a member and former president of Ports Creek Hunting Club. He was a World War II Army veteran.


Survivors are his widow, Mary G. Eaddy; two sons, Danny C. Eaddy of Cooks Springs, Ala., and Albert W. Eaddy of Bodega Bay, Calif.; a daughter, Delores E. Holenbaugh of Georgetown; eight sisters, Leona McKenzie, Moeaden Mc Crea and Wista Brown, all of Kingstree, Wannah Davis of Florence, Annie Laura McCants and Bertie Mc Crea, both of Georgetown, Selma Gene Malay of Moncks Corner and Kiethie Thompson of Goose Creek; 12 grandchildren; four great- grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Cornerstone Baptist Church P.O. Box 1098, Georgetown; S.C. 29442.

Funeral services are Monday, April 29, 1996, at 3 p.m., at Cornerstone Baptist Church, with the Rev. Luford O. Pope and the Rev. James A. Mc Elveen officiating.

Burial under the direction of Graham Funeral Home, followed in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.
