Arlus D. Brady, 83, of 2418 Amherst St. died of a respiratory ailment Monday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. Services will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Evangelical Covenant Church, of which he was a member. Burial will at 10 a.m. Friday at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Brady was born in Carpenter, Wyo., and lived most of his life in Des Moines. He retired as a route supervisor for Anderson-Erickson Dairy Co. and was an Army veteran of World War II. Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to his church.
