Ruby M. Brady, 90, of Valley View Village died Friday at Taylor House in Des Moines. Services will be 2 p.m., Sunday, July 6 at Evangelical Covenant Church, of which A she was a life-long member. A private burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens. Ruby was born at her home in Adelphi, just east of Des Moines to Swedish immigrants Charles and Hilda Marie Erickson. She met her husband, Arlus, who lived in near-by Rising Sun and they were married for nearly 58 years until Arlus passed away in 1997, They are now reunited in heaven with their daughter, Shari, who passed away last August, each having known Jesus personally. Ruby worked at Rollins Hosiery Mill before she had children and after her children were grown, she worked at Anderson Erickson Dairy. She served for many years as a Sunday School Teacher and was involved in many boards and committees at her church. The family will receive friends following the service Sunday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to her church.
