OTTIS BAILEY
Ottis G. Bailey, 77, of Pine Bluff, died December 18, 1997, at his home.
He was born on May 20, 1920, in Tipton County, Tennessee, a son of the late John Bailey and Reney Rogers Bailey.

He was retired from Dean Norman Construction Company and was a member of Oak Park Church of the Nazarene at Pine Bluff.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Beaver Bailey.

Survivors include two sons, Ottis G. Bailey Jr. of Jefferson and Rickey D. Bailey of Rison; four daughters, Judy Ann Davidson of Bryant, Patsy Mae Harris, Rita Fay of Hot Springs and Ashley Michelle Harrison of Pine Bluff; two brothers, R.B. Bailey of Ripley, Tennessee, and Frasier Bailey of Ripley; two sisters, Louise Alsbrook of Munford, Tennessee and Mary C. Carrell of Hazen; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church near Rison with Johnny Brewster and Jim Lynch officiating.

Burial was in Mount Zion Cemetery near Rison by Buie Funeral Home of Rison.
