He was born October 8, 1892 in Neelyton, a son of Charles G. and Annie (Fleming) Robinson. He was married to Grace Fogal of Neelyton and she preceded him in death.
Surviving are two sons, Robert Eugene Robinson of Alcoa, Tenn., and Jack L. Robinson of Chambersburg.
One son William died in Germany during World War II. There are six grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Chalmer Robinson and Glenn Robinson, both of Neelyton, and five sisters, Mrs. Edna McGeeHee of Chambersburg, Mrs. Annie Montague of Neelyton, Mrs. Hazel Kelly of Three Springs and Misses Helen and Alma Robinson of Neelyton.
Mr. Robinson was a member of the Pine Grove Presbyterian Church of Neelyton and was an elder in the church and a teacher of the Men's Bible Class. He was also a member of the Men's Council of the church. The deceased was a meat cutter by trade working for a number of years for Swan's Market of Shade Gap and then for W. G. Cornelius and Paul Booher of Orbisonia. He had been a member of the Shade Gap Quartet.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 2 p.m. from the Pine Grove Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Bruce Robinson, past of the Bethany Larger Parish, will officiate. Interment will be made in the Pine Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the Ott funeral home in Orbisonia after 7 p.m. this evening until 11 a.m. on Sunday and then at the church from noon on Sunday until the time for the services.
