Mrs. Mollie Deal, wife of Charles E. Deal died in a hospital at Huntington at 1:15 o'clock Wednesday, April 2, 1930. Mrs. Deal had been in ill health, for some time, and had submitted to an operation about two weeks ago. She was 61 years of age.

She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marien Oden, deceased, former residents of this vicinity. She was born and grew to womanhood on the Oden homestead in Harrison Township.

She was married to Charles E. Deal about forty years ago. After her marriage, she lived in this vicinity for a few years, and since then she has lived in the northern part of Miami County and in Wabash County.

She is survived by the husband, one son, Myr, four grandchildren, three brothers, William, Marlon, Marien of Athens, and Walter of Kokomo, and one sister, Mrs. Blanche LaCourt of Marion.

The funeral services will be held at the home at one o'clock this (Friday) afternoon, and burial will be made in the Amboy I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
