Corine Akridge Holmes, 91, of Center, passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at Green Acres Nursing Home.

Services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 19, 2010 at Mangum Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Pat Windham officiating. Burial will follow at Old Sardis Cemetery in San Augustine County. Visitation will be Saturday, December 18, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Mangum Funeral Home.

She was born December 12, 1919 to Jim Akridge and Mary Jane (Hooper) Akridge. She was a member of the White Rock Baptist Church and Eastern Star, Newburn Chapter.

She is preceded in death by her Husband, Leonard Holmes, Parents, Jim Akridge and Mary Jane (Hooper) Akridge, Brothers, Virgil Akridge, RB Akridge, J.I. Akridge and Luther Akridge, Sisters, Myrtie Blanton and Macil Geeslin.
