Jacob Henry Wisherd died at his home in St.Joseph, Mo., on July 17, 1934 at 1:50 o'clock a.m. deceased was born on a farm near Wisherd Springs east of Bushnell, in 1868, and the body was brought to Bushnell and funeral services were held from the Clugsten Funeral Home this morning at 10 o'clock, Rev. L. J. Sailor of the Methodist church officiating. Burial in the Bushnell cemetery. He leaves to mourn his death, the widow, and four sons, J.L. of Albany, Kansas, E. E. of St. Joseph, Mo., and S.E. and J. N., both of Hollywood, California. From Bushnell he removed to Quincy, and from there to St. Joseph, that has been his home for many years. A brother was B. N. Wisherd, who conducted a restaurant in Bushnell for several years, moving from here to Quincy where he was in the whole-fish business, he dying some years ago.
