HARLEM, Ga. - Mr. Steven Lawrence Beasley, 47, loving husband of Deanna White Beasley, entered into rest on December 14, 2010, at Doctors Hospital, Augusta. Funeral services were held on Saturday, December 18, 2010, at 11:00 AM at Harlem Baptist Church with the Reverend Philip Vestal and Reverend Steve Hartman and Roger Kendrick officiating. Interment followed in Harlem Memorial Cemetery. Mr. Beasley was born in Augusta to the late Henry Hammond Beasley and Rubye Pittman Beasley. He was Operations Manager for Advanced Auto Parts Distribution Center. Steve was a graduate of Harlem High School Class of 1981. He was an avid baseball and softball player and coached many area teams and was an active member of Harlem Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife Deanna W. Beasley; two sons, Derek Steven Beasley and Collin Lawrence Beasley; two daughters Claire Marie Beasley and Abigail 'Abby' Deanna Beasley, all of Harlem; one sister Nancy Beasley Blanchard and her husband Gary of Appling; one brother Dean Beasley and his wife Laraine of Martinez. Pallbearers were Brad Collins, Kevin Blizzard, Daniel Morris, Brad Beckworth, Doug James, Steve Camp, Trevon McDaniel and Andy Pollard. Starling Funeral Home, Hwy 78, Harlem, Ga.
