Freda Christina Meyer was the adopted daughter of William and Meta Christina Heins Meyer. Raised in Redwing, Minnesota, the family moved to Bellingham, Washington in about 1910. Freda lived most of her life in the Seattle area. It is unknown if she ever married. As an adult, Freda was not an active member of the family. She was found dead in a vacant lot at Washington and Yesler (now part of I-5). Her body was unclaimed by the family. Freda was cremated and then the state buried her at Evergreen Washelli.
