IUKA - Russel D. Wright, 72, died Thursday, Dec. 16, 2010, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Iuka.

He was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church and retired from the dairy business. A devoted husband and wonderful father, he greatly enjoyed spending time with his family. He enjoyed riding his Harley motorcycle, fishing and gardening.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Phillip Logan officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Moriah Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Betty S. Wright; a special mother-in-law, Burchia Scruggs Milligan of Iuka; three sons, Monroe Wright (Judy), Martin Wright (Rhonda) and Mitchell Wright (Tammy), all of Iuka; two brothers, Julian Wright of Cortland, N.Y., and Tommy Wright, Burnsville; two sisters, Reba Cox of Hornsby, Tenn., and Betty Thompson of Cartersville, Ga.; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
