Mrs. John Montgomery

Mrs. John Montgomery died suddenly Friday (June 27) morning at her home in this city at the age of 72 years. While she had been ailing for the past year, her condition had seemed to be so favorable that her daughter, Mrs. Case had gone but a few days before to her home in Ramona, California.
Mrs. Montgomery had lived in Kansas fifty seven years, first at Leavenworth, later at Ellsworth and Manhattan, coming to this city in 1889.
She was an active worker in church and social affairs and will be mourned by a wide circle of friends.
She is survived by her husband, two children, Harry E. Montgomery of this city and Mrs. L. R. Case of Ramona, California.
The funeral was held Monday afternoon from the Church of the Covenant and burial was made in Highland Cemetery.
