GEORGIA JEAN (COPSEY) DENTE
May 29, 1927 ~ December 14, 2010

Georgia Jean (Copsey) Dente 83, of Vancouver, Washington, was surrounded by her daughters and her husband in her home on Wednesday, December 14, 2010, when she joined her parents, brother, and sister.
Georgia was born on May 29, 1927, in Freewater, OR. She later moved to Seattle, WA where she met her husband Florin "Frank" Dente, who was originally from New York and was a merchant Marine. They were married shortly after they met and moved to San Jose, CA, Milton-Freewater, OR, and then settled in Vancouver, WA where they raised their children.
Georgia is known for her kindness to all. She is loved and cherished by her family and is the best friend to each of her children. Every day she talked to each of her daughters-sharing stories from their day. Her husband teased that the girls were born with the phone connected like an umbilical cord.
She is preceded in her death by her father, George Copsey, mother, Rita Copsey, brother, Kenneth Copsey, and sister, Jane Linklater. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Frank Dente; eight children: Blake Borup (wife Clara), Michael Dente (wife Laurie), Barbara Reynolds (husband Ron), Jo Taylor (husband Mike), Georgia Behrens (husband Ken), Tony Dente, Katherine Walters (husband Ron), and Paul Dente; eighteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and several loved cousins, nieces, and nephews.
While she will be missed immensely by her family, they know that they are the most fortunate family because they were able to call her mom, granny, and their best friend.
Service were at Evergreen Memorial Gardens on Monday December 20, 2010 at 12:30pm.
