Donna Rae Powell Yates, 77 years old, of Fulton, Missouri died Thursday, January 22, 2009, at the University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.
Donna was born June 15, 1931, in Akron, Ohio, the daughter of the late Raymond and Nova (Descutner) Victor.
Donna was married in 1949 to Robert Combs. In 1962 she married Thomas Powell and he preceded her in death. On January 6, 2007 she married Roy "Bert" Yates in Carrington, Missouri and he survives her.
Donna leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband, one son, Gary (Molly) Powell of Fulton, two daughters, Karen (Danny) Hartman of Jefferson City and Sherry Rae (Corwin) Jones of Steedman, two step-sons, Tony (Alayne) Yates of St. Louis and Christopher (Chris) Yates of Fort Collins, Colorado, one step-daughter, Joni Denson of Sullavan, Missouri, two brothers, Chuck (Paula) Victor of Akron, Ohio and John (Julia) Gardner of Cedar Park, Texas, one stepsister, Barbara Wright, seven grandchildren, Eric Hartman, Wendi Jackson, Joshua Powell, Colton Jones, Hayden Jones, Baleigh Jones and Lewis Daniels-Jones, three great-grand-children, Jared Hartman, Kaden Hartman and Addison Grace Powell.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Shirley Conners and one brother, Ronald Victor.
Donna worked as a legal secretary for the state of Missouri. She was a member of the Harvest Time Ministries, loved to sing and had sung with the Senior Singles Group.
Funeral services are at 10:00am on Monday, January 26 at the Debo Funeral Home, in Fulton, with Reverend Charles Norris and Norman Forman officiating. Burial will be in Callaway Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 5-8:00pm at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
