Funeral services for Everett S. Abel were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the Gardner Chapel with the Rev. John Cooper officiating. Mae Murphy was soloist, and she was accompanied by Mabel Wright. Pallbearers were Henry Chatman, Floyd Morgan, Bernard Hedge, Denzil Claycomb, EverettMartin and Lou Dardine. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery. Everette was hit by a car and died from skull fracture.
