Mr. Enoch D. Tucker of Fort Smith, Arkansas, died Wednesday, January 28, 2009, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Mr. Tucker was 87 years old. Mr. Tucker was the son of the late David Monore and Ethel E. (Carter)Tucker. He was a retired United States Postal Worker and a retired United States NAVY & ARMY veteran of World War II. He was a member of the American Legion and was an ELDER of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Mr. Tucker was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother: Clarence Tucker. He is survived by his wife: Dorothy Tucker; three sons: Ronald G. Elkins, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Douglas E. Tucker, of Mansfield, Arkansas, and Daniel W. Tucker, of Muldrow, Oklahoma; a sister: Lorene Helms, of Mansfield, Arkansas; two brothers; Willie M. Tucker of Irving, Texas, and David Earl Tucker, of Mansfield, Arkansas; a sister-in-law: Grace Tucker; nieces/nephews/cousins; 7 precious grandchildren; 10 wonderful great-grandchildren: and 1 special great-great-grandchild; and many good friends. Funeral service was held on Saturday, January 31, 2009, at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Burial followed at the Old Union Cemetery near Magazine, Arkansas. Pallbearers were: J.C. Elkins, Paul Elkins, Darren Tucker, Shane Szczerba, Jim Elkins, and Andrew Elkins.
