Knoeful Carl (K.C.) Boss, 81, Corydon, died Sunday, Dec. 19, 2010, at his home.
Born March 27, 1929, in Corydon, he was the son of the late Knoeful Christian and Lula M. Linton Boss.
He was an Army veteran, a retired letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service, serving downtown Corydon from 1960 to 1988, and a member of Corydon Moose Lodge No. 2493 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Corydon.
Survivors include his wife, the former Earllene M. Sutherland; a son, Casey Ray Boss of Corydon; four stepsons, Paul L. Akridge of Corydon, David A. Akridge of Palmyra, Pat E. Akridge of Utica and Keith L. Akridge of Indianapolis; two stepdaughters, Jan Luther of Corydon and Joey Thomas of Missouri; three sisters, Dorothy J. Williams and Janice R. Engleman, both of Corydon, and Janet Sue Cartie of Lexington, Ky.; three grandchildren; and several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Tuesday, Dec. 21, from 2 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, Dec. 22, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Wednesday, Dec. 22, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
Officiant: Pastor Christopher Truelsen.
Pallbearers: Casey and Logan Boss, Paul Engleman Jr. and Paul, David and Keith Akridge.
The family suggests memorial gifts to Hosparus.

Funeral services for Knoeful Carl "K.C." Boss, 81, of Corydon, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 22, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home, Corydon, with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery. He died Sunday, Dec. 19, 2010, at his home.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 2 to 8 p.m. today, and after 9 a.m. Wednesday.
