Mrs. Anna B. Christensen, 85, Markville and formerly of North Minneapolis died Thursday afternoon, June 29 at the Sandstone Area Hospital.
She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Lillian Shute, Sandstone; one son, Wallace Christensen, Excelsior; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Mrs. Christensen lived most of her life in the North Minneapolis area and was a long time member of Salem Lutheran Church in Minneapolis. Her husband, Walter preceded her in death in 1947. She has lived with her daughter in Markville, near Duxbury since 1972.
Funeral services were held at the Sunset Memorial Park Chapel in Minneapolis at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 1, with interment following at the Sunset Memorial Park. Rev. Donald Danielson and Rev. Leslie Pardon officiated at the funeral services. Casket bearers were Darrel Shute, Alden Shute, Wallace Shute, Donald Carlson, Curtis Nelson and Dave Backlund. Mrs. Marlys Nelson was organist.
